Mikell McCray, PsyD, Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Mikell received her PsyD from Argosy University. In addition to Psychological Evaluations, she sees children, adolescents, and adults. She is involved in the planning committee for the annual Mental Health Forum in Peoria. She is on the board for the Mental Health Association of Central Illinois. Since starting work with Veteran Evaluation Services, service men and women and their families have a special place in her heart. She is available in the Peoria and Normal locations. Mikell has been seeing clients since 2004.
Mikell is engaged to Andrew. They love to eat and cook low-carb/Paleo. She has a cat named Marley, and Andrew has a Bernese mountain dog named Ebony. Her favorite book and movie is The Wizzard of Oz - she is a bit obsessed you might say.
Jennifer M. Morrison, PsyD Postdoctoral Resident
Jennifer's PsyD is from Widener University's Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology in Pennsylvania. She is currently completing her postdoctoral hours for licensing as a clinical psychologist. Jennifer provides therapy services and psychological evaluations for adolescents and adults. She specializes in providing CBT, CPT, ACT, and DBT. As a trauma specialist, she carries certifications for working with adolescents with PTSD, military service members and veterans, and sexual assault victims. She also has significant experience working with substance abuse. Jennifer has been seeing clients since 2011. She is available in Peoria, Canton, and Normal.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys running, reading, and attending the theatre. She also enjoys spending time with her family and playing with her two cats, Watson and Melanie.
Mary Jennifer Meister, LCSW received her Masters of Social Work and Masters of Divinity from Loyola University in 2006. She brings with her a wide range of experience including chaplaincy work, social work, foster care therapy, pastoral care, youth ministry, and community mental health. Mary Jennifer loves to bake, especially breads and cakes. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family, go hiking, and read.

Donna Brooks, MA, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
Donna has been a therapist at John R. Day & Associates since 1997. She has an M.A. in Counseling from Bradley University. She is available at the Peoria office, providing services for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Donna focuses on Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, OCD and related disorders, Trauma and Stressor-Related Disorders, Eating DO, and Marriage Counseling.
Donna and her husband, Dave, and their son, Wes, love to lead worship at various venues. She is a published songwriter. She sees her work as a psychotherapist and a songwriter dovetailing perfectly toward the same goal of bringing encouragement, healing, wholeness and hope to individuals.
Bethany Vanne, MA, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
Beth received her M.A. from Wheaton college. She provides counseling for children, teenagers, adults, seniors, and couples. Beth is available in Peoria and Pekin. She has been practicing since 2008.
Beth loves to spend time with her family and their dog, Roscoe. She works with the youth group at church and enjoys discipling students. Beth also likes to run and work in the garden.
Sarah Kate Holland, MA, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
Kate received her master's degree from Bradley University. She sees children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She has a heart for women survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Kate is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for treatment of trauma and other issues. Kate is available in Peoria and Eureka offices. She has been seeing clients since 2001.
Kate loves music and likes to sing and dance. She believes laughter is truly the best medicine. She has a son who is precious to her.
John R. Day, PhD, Licensed Clinical Psychologist
John founded John R. Day & Associates in 1974. His doctorate is from the University of Illinois in Clinical Psychology. He provides therapy services for children, adolescents, and adults. He also administers psychological evaluations, forensic evaluations, and health and wellness evaluations. John specializes in behavioral medicine, clinical hypnosis, sexual therapy, and addiction treatment. John has been practicing since 1971 and is available in the Peoria office.
John is on the Board of Directors for the Peoria Symphony Orchestra and the Advisory Board for the Salvation Army. He is on the WTVP public television Board of Directors, and a member of the Rotary Club in Peoria. John likes to cook, play the piano and organ for the Peoria First United Methodist Church, sings in the choir, and is the proud grandfather of two girls.
Phillip J. Ladd, MA, DMin, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Ordained Minister
Phil received his M.A. at Ashland Theological Seminary, his M.Div at North Park Theological Seminary, and his Doctor of Ministry from Palmer Theological Seminary in Marriage and Family Therapy. Phil sees individuals, couples, and families. He treats anxiety, mood disorders, schizophrenic DO, and trauma, as well as provides psychological testing. He specializes in EMDR (Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing) and is certified in Forensic Counseling and Geriatrics. Phil has been seeing clients since 1984. He is available in Peoria and Canton.
Phil is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is Vice President of Interfaith Alliance, a member of Peoria Rotary Club, a NAACP member, and teaches Sunday school. He enjoys spending time with wife, walking/running, playing tennis, going to the movies, listening to music, and reading and writing. Phil is currently writing his second book. His favorite activity right now is FaceTime with his grandson.

Luke's Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology is from the Graduate School of Psychology, Fuller Theological Seminary. He also has a master's degree in Theology. Luke provides therapy services for children, adolescents, and adults. He treats Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Schizophrenic Spectrum Disorders, and Trauma. Luke specializes in EMDR and hypnosis. Luke provides psychological evaluations for ADHD, Autism, Asperger's, Sensory
Processing Disorders, Cognitive and Personality Functioning, Custody, and Learning Disorders. Luke does talks and trainings on a variety of mental health topics, including marriage, divorce recovery, depression/suicide, and childhood sexual abuse. Luke has been practicing since 1991. Luke is available in Peoria and Normal.
In his spare time, Luke enjoys running, reading, gardening, attending the theatre, and baseball. His favorite team is the Phillies. He is involved in a men's book group, and supports World Vision, missions, and Habitat for Humanity.
